HC upholds sale of site to film assn

bangalore: a writ petition challenging the validity of sale of a site in prime locality of the city, in favour of karnataka chalanachitra kalavidara sangha, headed by the cine star and mp ambarish was dismissed on monday by the karnataka high court. a division bench comprising justice ashok bhan and chinananda ullal dismissed the petition filed by the karnataka housing board employees union represented by its president leelavathi challenging the sale by the karnataka housing board of site no.5 and 6 in pampamahakari road chamarajpet, in favour of the respondent association.
